Step 1. Free download Mac DVD to iPod trial version. This software supports both Intel version and Power PC version. Then Lauch it.

Step 2. Click Load DVD or Load IFO button to add DVD movies. Then choose titles or chapters you want to convert to iPod.

Step 3. Select output format and reset parameters on Settings panel.

At the bottom of the main window, you can rename the output file for a current title/chapter, and select subtitle and audio track to put on your movie. If you want to merge selected titles or chapters into one file, just check Merge into one file.

Step 4. Choose output path.

1. Trim DVD Title or Chapter
If you want a clip from a title/chapter, you can click the Trim button to open the Trim window and trim the current title or chapter by dragging the Start Time slider and End Time slider. Then you can only rip segments from dvd on mac.

2. Crop DVD Video
If you want to remove the black edges or just convert an area from your movie video, you can click the Crop button to crop the video of the current title or chapter. You can specify an area either by dragging the frame around the video or setting the crop values: Top, Button, Left and Right. 3. Video Effect
If you want to adjust the video effect of your movie, you can click the Effect button and drag each effect adjustment slider to set the video brightness, contrast, saturation and video volume. You can also choose a special effect from the Effect drop-down list to apply to your movie.

4.Capture Pictures
After the files added, you can preview the movie in the preview window on the left of the main interface. While previewing the movie, you can capture pictures by clicking the Snapshot button. Click the Snapshot Folder button to open the folder where the captured pictures are saved. You can also specify the folder where to save the pictures. Choose a format (JPEG and BMP) for the captured pictures to be saved as. Then Click Ok to finish the settings. You can find the pictures in the the folder you specified.
